Natalia Dmitriev

sleepdeprivedvixen@yahoo.com

* waltzes into the room and takes a seat at the desk* Good afternoon, my name's Annette *smiles at the new face seated nearby* *picks up a paper from on top of the massive mess on the desk* Now, just a few questions and you get to go on your way. Don't make this into a disagreeable experience, okay? *nods decisively* Let's start at the beginning. What's your name? I'd appreciate your full given name, *looks up expectantly* you know, first and last:

*looks up from the book she is reading* Natalia Dmitriev.*speaks with a Russian accent, but not a heavy one* *smooths some imaginary wrinkles out of her skirt and pushes a lock of her dark hair out of her icy eyes, awaiting the next question* *has a graceful presence about her, almost elegant at time* *at other times she can seem the exact opposite*

*nods* Alright *scribbles the name and a few stick figures on the paper* *snatches it out of view* Do you have a name of sorts that you'd rather be called? *to herself* I prefer my real name, but hey, to each his own. *looks over with a bemused smile on her face* And, how'd you get that particular nickname?:

*wrinkles her nose* I prefer Natalia. Miroslav -used- to call me Nat, but I don’t want to be called that. *actually would not care if you called her Nat, or any other rendition of her name that there is* *just does not want Miroslav to call her that anymore* *and why should he?* *useless oaf*

*smirks* Cute, real cute *snickers a little* So, how old are ya, huh? And on what day will you be turning a another year older?:

*gives you the first smile you have seen from her* I’m 18, my birthday is the second of June. *doesn’t like her birthday, mainly because she shares it with her brother* *closes her book after marking the page and sets it down beside her, figuring this is going to take a while* *carries herself to look older than she is, at least by a few years* *most people think she is twenty, or somewhere around there* *crosses her legs, awaiting the next question*

*raises her eyebrows* That's a decent time of year *casts a furitive glance at out the window* So, now where were we? *looks over the paper, now riddled with stick figures and curly handwriting* Oh, yes, your looks. *nods* Now, don't give me a hard time, just tell me what you look like. *puts her pen to the paper expectantly* You know, like eye and hair colour, height, and all that other stuff. Pretend I'm blind, okay?:

*raises an eyebrow, but does not offer ridicule* I have blue eyes, brown hair, I’m not that tall. *shrugs* *her hair is a dark brown, its darkness contrasting with her pale grayish-blue eyes and her pale skin* *her eyes are often full of anger and pain, but she does not like to know when she is hurting* *although her hair is brown it is dark enough that it seems black sometimes, and it reaches past her shoulders* *she’s about 5'8" and somewhat thin* *her figure is not very curvy, but enough to suit her delicate frame*

*raises eyebrows* Sure, if that's what you say.*shakes head in disbelief* What's your personality like? *looks you over* i mean, are you mean, nice, whatever? How're you going to get along here?:

*snorts* How am I supposed to know that? *can be nice, occasionally* *she tends to be mean but it is not completely unprovoked* *has a lot of anger held in that she just lets loose sometimes, usually on her brother* *unfortunately her wrath can be enured on innocent bystanders, and then they usually leave her alone for a long time* *is usually friendly to new people, so they do not take her as a total bitch upon arrival to the house*

*sighs* Got'cha, you really think that, eh? *draw a little more on the paper* Everyone gets mad about this one, but if you give me a hard time, I will not hesitate to hurt you. *narrows eyes* How'd you get here and what your story? Enthrall me.:

*rolls her eyes* *with a blank expression on her face* From Russia, parents died, came here, lodging house started. *gives you a look* Direct and to the point. Next question? *is obviously not going to elaborate on the facts she has given you* *her family came over from Russia when she was 4* *her parents died in a fire two years ago* *since her family already went to this church Father Samuel took Miroslav and her in, so they weren’t living on the streets or anything**was originally the leader of the girls house but then Father Samuel realized that having the siblings working side by side was not going to work, as they were constantly in argument*

*clasps hands and grins evilly* My favorite! *giggles* So, who are the people in your life? Family, friends *snickers* boyfriends? *looks up happily* Tell me everything.:

Unfortunately, I have a brother. Miroslav. *wrinkles her nose* *her face then turns into a bright smile* My little Veruchka is down at the orphanage, I love to visit her. *is referring, of course, to her little sister* My boyfriend, Brian Grygo, lives right down the street. *Brian is the son of the doctor that takes care of any mishaps at the lodging house that require medical attention* *one of the only times that she seems truly happy is when she is with him, so she spends a large amount of her time with him* *when she is not with Brian, however, she is with Austin* *hasn't bothered telling Austin that she has a boyfriend* *just sort of let what happens happen, and if they happen to be a bit intimate, so what?* I have other friends too, but I don’t want you hunting them down or telling their names to Miroslav, so I’m not going to tell you who they are. *has a history of her brother getting more than a little hostile to her friends*

Well, we've come to the last question. *nods* Then I can go out to the candy shop and get myself a phosphate *looks out the window again* So, anything else we oughta know about you?:

*smirks a little* Leave me alone and let me live my life. We’ll get along fine. *pulls her hair back into a bun and flounces out of the room with her book*
