19- The house in which the Dmitrievs are living burns to the ground, incinerating Mr. and Mrs. Dmitriev.
20- Father Samuel takes in Miroslav and Natalia, Verochka is put in the orphanage. Miroslav and Natalia become the leaders of the lodging houses.

13- After getting tired of Hempstead and not finding what he was looking for, Andrew Bernardi, now named Outsider, moves to Queens and joins the Astoria lodging house. -- AJ runs away from her home, and joins the Astoria girls, a mere few blocks away.
